Basma Special School won the first award as the best school in Palestine

      Basma Special School won the first award of Nabil Hani Al-Qaddoumi Excellence in Education Award (titled: Exceptional Schools for a Better Future, 2017).

       A ceremony was held in Al-Bireh, and via video conferencing with Gaza and Beirut to announce Taawon 2017 award winners, in the presence of a significant number of legal personalities, civil institutions, and experts in the fields of development.

       Emaar’s Chairman, Dr. Rami Al-Ghamri, represented the Association in the ceremony and expressed his happiness of the outstanding success of Basma Special School. He also explained the great importance of such institutions that encourage innovation in Palestine.

      Al Ghamri pointed out that keeping this success in the upcoming days is going to be very challenging under the siege policy and occupation that target education in Palestine.

    Finally, Dr. Rami appreciated Emaar’s hard work and devotion to empower and provide inclusive education for children with disabilities. He also directed his commending to everybody who contributed to this remarkable achievement including: the creative teaching staff, the community participation, and the creativity and excellence shown by the children of the school during their education.

   Worth noting that the award is worth 50,000 USD.
