About the Center

Al Amal Center for Care and Psychological Consultations was established in 2009 and licensed by the Ministry of Health with a registration No. 1/2013. The center aims to provide urgent social needs in terms of counseling and psychotherapy, especially after the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip in 2008

Objectives

Provide treatment services for psychological, mental, and social disorders

Provide psychological, educational, and social consultations

Provide psychological measurement services and Intelligence Quotient “IQ test”

Treat and rehabilitate the addicts

Rehabilitate some cases with special needs in line the services provided in the center

Study psychological phenomena in accordance with the Palestinian society needs

Contribute to raising awareness of community and taking care of its health through workshops and booklets

Free and paid services

All the services provided in the center are free

IQ tests and electroencephalography services are available for nominal fees

Children with cochlear implants

Children with motor disability

Children with speech disorders

Children with learning difficulties

Children with Dawn syndrome

Children with mental disability

Children with hearing impairment

Children with autism

Specialized, highly experienced and efficient team in psychological therapy

An Electroencephalogram (EEG) device to evaluate the electrical activity in the brain

“IQ” tests
