Registration for Free Medical Examination for Malnourished Children is Open

In order to provide the best services to our dear children from the age of 6 months to 5 years, Al Ahli Hospital in cooperation with Emaar Association for Development and Rehabilitation announces a free medical examination for children who are underweight or malnourished.

Note:

  • The examination will be carried out by a specialized team and the treatment, food, transportation, and medicines services will be free.

Poverty Reduction department conducts field research on Basma School students

The field research team of Emaar Association conducts field research to identify the living conditions of Basma school students and assess the possibility of helping them to improve the educational and rehabilitating services provided to this marginalized group.

Emaar distributes medicines and medical supplies to 52 poor patients in Khanyounis

Emaar for Development and Rehabilitation in cooperation with Poor Patient Fund team distributed medicines and medical supplies to poor patients in Khanyounis.

Rami Alghamri, the chairman of Emaar Association, said that Emaar continued its work with the Poor Patient Fund team from South Africa in implementing “Poor Patient Fund” program. He added that the program has recently provided medical assistance to 52 poor families with an estimated cost of 20,000 $, he also pointed out that the assistance includes surgical operations, urgent medical examinations, treatment, and rehabilitation sessions for people with disabilities.

Finally, Alghamri praised the efforts of the team and hoped that the program will continue to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian patients in the Gaza Strip.

Emaar Association for Development and Rehabilitation Conducts a Medical Day for Malnourished Children

Emaar Association for Development and Rehabilitation in cooperation with Al Ahli Hospital conducted a medical day for 75 malnourished children aged between 6 months and 5 years.

Hamada Shaat, the director of the financial and administrative department, said that children suffer from malnourishment due to the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip. He also thanked Al Ahli hospital for their cooperation and support of children

 Mr. Kareem Alsous, the head of poverty reduction section, indicated that this medical day includes health and nutrition assessment, growth measurements, medical tests, and health consultations.

The program will provide fortified milk, cerelac, nutritional supplements, and vitamins that will improve the health of malnourished children

Emaar Distributes Electric Wheelchairs

Emaar Association for Development and Rehabilitation distributed electric wheelchairs for people with special needs in Khanyounis governorate.

The Chairman of the Board, Dr. Rami Alghamri, said that Emaar distributed two wheelchairs for people with special needs with a cost of 4 thousand dollars. He pointed out that a benefactor, who seeks to alleviate the suffering of people with disabilities, donated for the project.

The beneficiaries expressed their thanks and gratitude to Emaar Association and to the efforts of charitable organizations to support the Palestinian people, especially the needy in Khanyounis governorate through the launching of many charitable and relief projects and programs.
